We have also worked closely with a number of government organisations, wildlife trusts and local authorities on species monitoring and mapping projects. This involved data collection, storage, processing and sharing using various professional databases and web technologies.

DalesWildlife is a web site aimed at recording BAP and Red Data species. It allows registered users to report sightings and displays the results on a map with locations shown as 2km tetrads.

Our species monitoring software allows users to enter species locations for specific sites using mouse clicks. Results can then be queried by species, location or date. As well as recording species data, this is a simple way of showing whether one particular species population changes are related to another species.

Our interactive vistor centre display allowed used to view items of interest, or join in with puzzles and quizzes.
